Southland Girls High School yr 9 and 10

Wow – what a cool day. Firstly, I got to work with Georgia Purdue, a hugely organised year 13 student who I first met at the Fuji Xerox Next Generation Leaders Conference. As part of being selected for that Georgia had to complete a ‘purposeful act of leadership’ and she chose to get me in to speak with her year 9 and year 10 students. Not only that, she arranged for Wendy Frew (Captain of the Southern Steel and ex Silver Fern) to also speak. It made for a wonderful day and a powerful experience for the year 9 and 10 Southland Girls High School students.

Big congratulations to Georgia for organising the programme, the funding, the school timetable and teacher availability. Making IT Happen J.
