Terms & Conditions

Below are the terms and conditions pertaining to the NewZeal brand, held under Adventure and Education Holdings Ltd.

Payment Terms 

A 20% deposit is required to confirm a booking. The remaining balance will be due 7 days pre-delivery of NewZeal® services. Clients are liable for any bank fees associated with payments to NewZeal® from non - New Zealand bank accounts.   

 

Cancellation Policy 

(Bookings cancelled/altered*) 

*up to 56 days prior to travel date, incur a cancellation fee of 20% 

*between 55 to 29 days prior to travel date, incur a cancellation fee of 50% 

*between 28 to 15 days prior to travel date, incur a cancellation fee of 75% 

*within 14 days prior to travel date, incur a cancellation fee equal to the full price of the booking.

 

*Cancellation refers to the client group not attending. 

*Altering the booking is where previously booked activities are changed.

 

The cancellation fee is at the discretion of NewZeal and NewZeal Teams.  

 

Weather and Contingency

All of our activities/experiences are weather and/or environmental condition dependent. NewZeal will always consider customer safety as paramount when making alterations to an activity.

 

Where weather/river conditions are not suitable, a pre-agreed alternative will be implemented - Most likely this will be a similar activity in a different location. The difference in cost will be explained prior, documented and refunded/invoiced afterwards.

NewZeal will keep clients informed in advance of the day of weather conditions and the plan for the day.
